Your tasks:

  • Be a Strategic Procurement Business Partner for the Preclinical & Clinical Development areas.
  • Analyse, assess and manage supplier performance (supplier management)
  • Ensure compliance with company and departmental guidelines and manage the Strategic Procurement support of the Preclinical & Clinical Procurement category
  • Develop, implement and execute the category strategy in alignment with the business partner
  • Manage the business relationship with external suppliers and negotiate effective supplier contracts (including MSAs, change orders) in collaboration with the business and support functions e.g. Legal, QA, Compliance, Finance etc.
  • Develop and implement best in class Procurement processes for the Preclinical & Clinical category
  • Manage and document Purchasing activities and processes in compliance with SOX, regulations and company procedures.

Your qualifications / Who you are:

  • Degree in Business Administration / Sciences or comparable qualification.
  • Minimum of 8 years global Procurement experience preferably in Pharmaceutical/
  • Biotechnology industry with a strong understanding of the Procurement category  Preclinical / Clinical Development
  • Experience in working in a cross-functional environment
  • Sound understanding of legal and financial processes.
  • Proven ability to negotiate efficiently at senior level of the organisation as well as with external partners
  • Strong customer focus and interpersonal skills.
  • Comfortable in a multicultural environment.
  • Proactive and result-driven behaviour
  • Good communication skills (Written and Spoken) in English
