Defining and executing the patient advocacy strategy 

Building and cultivating relationships with patient organizations, patient advocates, healthcare organizations and relevant medical societies (focus on oncology and hematology)

Steering the planning and execution of strategic initiatives and programs with the above stakeholders

Ensuring the inclusion of the patient and caregiver perspective within the company and among cross-functional projects using various communications channels

Close collaboration with the worldwide patient affairs team and representing the local perspective

Active participation in external committees and working groups focusing on patient advocacy/communications (Germany-wide)

Experience in the corporate affairs or market access department of a pharmaceutical company or relevant experience in an agency with a pharmaceutical/medical background, alternatively experience from working for a patient centric organization/initiative

Experienced in working together with patient organizations/patient advocates, a strong network of relevant contacts is a plus

Deep understanding of the general healthcare and biopharma landscape as well as the German healthcare system and current health policy discourse

Very good knowledge about the legal framework and applicable regulations for working together with patient organizations

High level of social and communication skills

Fluent in German

Business-fluent in English

Very experienced project manager with the ability to work under pressure in a fast changing environment and handle multiple projects at the same time
